No Whatsapp Notifications in Notification Centre

The solution is easy. Go to setting - background app refresh - make sure it is on Wifi & Cellular Data. Mine was normal after that for notification, but still cant have notification when someone calling.

Finally!!! I resolved the issue of not receiving whatsapp notification.

it waa due to those shortcuts i created….After I deleted all of them, i start to receive whatsapp notification…

I turned off WhatsApp notifications on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and WhatsApp notifications alert working fine on my iPhone.

I was also facing the same issue fixed by just following these steps:

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions

now turn on the Content & Privacy Restrictions

I think it will auto-disable after the iOS 17 updates.

The problem has been fixed in the latest iOS 17.2.1 update

I had the same issue with my IPhone 15 Pro Max and I just reboot it. The issue was solved for me..

I am phasing same problem with not reversing notifications of whatsapp untill i opened it. My problem resolved after restart the phone.

Haven't tried backup/delete/restore as I'm in the middle of some serious chats that I can't risk losing, but after disabling/re-enabling all sort of notifications, disabling all Focus (what used to be just Do Not Disturb) still the same thing. Restarted my phone, asked my daughter to ping me a message and I got the notification - time will tell if it is a permanent fix or goes back to the same behaviour as some have complained. 🤞

Yes, archived is the main root cause for no notification with all the correct settings already implemented.

Still happening….. I must delete it and redownload it at least 2-3 times a month it’s a joke

use path - what’s up —> settings—> Account—> security notifications—> enable setting “ show security notifications on this phone “

Yes, this is happening to me too. Started Jan 2024, I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it, which seemed to work for a short while, but a month later, it started happening again. I’m currently updated to 17.3.1, which is the current latest update (feb2024)
