my wife wants to change the number but she doesn't want the old numbers to go to viber and watssapp to the friends she had if icloud closes and opens a new one with the new number, is she sure she won't have any contact with her contacts old ones in viber and watssapp, I don't get the message for the new number, please help me

She will have to log out of viber and whatsapp, and also iMessage and FaceTime, change the number, then set up those apps again with the new number. The number for messaging apps do not change automatically.
tell me is it safe to do this
