ipad won't unlock or touch due to critical alert

How can i take off "home would like to send you critical alerts" from my ipad?

A "Management Critical Alerts in settings" notification came up with the options "Allow" or "Don't Allow" and ever since my Ipad screen has been frozen. No matter what I do; press the power button, I tried to force restart, It will not come off. I can't put in my pass code or anything. What should I do?

Begin with a forced-restart of your iPad:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

After restart, update your iPad to iPadOS 16.4.1.

LOL, believe it or not, this worked for me. It just made my screen go black and a little loading circle came up and then boom my screen was back. I now have 1000 screenshots but hey, at least it worked and saved me a trip to the apple store. This seems to be a common issue in the Gen 10, iPad. I HIGHLY recommend doing this if this ever happens to you!
