I purchased an apple watch for my son and added it through my iphone. It has cellular. The watch is paired and I have both wifi and bluetooth on. On his watch, the spotify app will not download, saying an iphone is required. On my iphone under the watch app, there is no “available apps” option, which is what everything Im reading says to click. What is the problem?

I noticed the same problem with my child’s Apple Watch, which is a stand-alone “family setup” device. I’d expect that if she had her own phone paired to the watch, then Spotify would be available.
