I find that iCloud Drive works pretty well. I share the files between my iPhone, iPad, Mac and work Windows computer quite easily. Is the web interface for iCloud Drive ideal? No. But, it gets the job done.

Depending on the data you're trying to transfer and the app involved you may be able to Find files on your iPhone or iPad in the Files app - Apple Support using iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.
