I just read that Passcode is required immediately if I use Touch ID and yet, when I search settings for “Touch”, Touch ID doesn’t even appear!! How do I get out of the “Passcode Immediately Required” trap?

If Face ID is enabled, then the only available option is Immediately. The other options will appear if you disable Face ID.
It wasn’t really app-specific. I was working on the yard. The phone was in low-power mode so it was going to sleep quickly and I had to use face-ID or enter the passcode over and over. I just want to increase the time before the passcode is required but “immediately” is the only option granted.
