Downloads are not in folder on iPhone
When I download something it NEVER appears in my folder. Where does it go? How can I view my downloads?

By default, downloaded files on an iPhone are saved in the Downloads folder in the Files app. Here are the steps to view your downloads:
- Open the Files app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the Browse button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the Downloads folder.
- You should see all your downloaded files in this folder.
If you still can't find your downloaded files, try checking the Downloads folder on your iCloud Drive or other cloud storage services you may be using. You can also try searching for the filename using the Spotlight search feature on your iPhone.
Additionally, your settings may be configured to save files in a different location. To view this setting:
- Open Settings Application > Safari > Downloads
- You will be able to choose where downloads go when downloading from Safari.

Yep same for me - downloads never appear in downloads. It is an absolute joke. What is so hard about file management on iPads and iPhones - just be normal - make it normal .

I think the highlighted point is #4 "You should see all your downloaded files in this folder." Yes you should but no you don't.
Can’t find files downloaded
So I downloaded some songs on music. Apparently I couldn’t find anywhere on files when i tried to upload it. Must it be that difficult to do such a simple thing on Iphone? It’s really frustrating.
There is no download folder in the browse tab.

Have worked out how to download into files
Open a new folder in file app and when you download it automatically goes into that folder
I have done that and rebooted the iPhone. The downloads are not in the Downloads folder. Some very old files are but nothing current.

This is a B.S. response. Apple has created this very difficult process for some inane reason. The correct response is that you understand your developers screwed up and you will fix it.
