Downloads are not in folder on iPhone

This is a B.S. response. Apple has created this very difficult process for some inane reason. The correct response is that you understand your developers screwed up and you will fix it.

I just had this issue as well, but then it occurred to me that I was trying to download from the Google app and not through Safari. Once I tried downloading from Safari, everything was right where it needed to be.

I finally figured out that I was not actually "Saving" the files, I was just opening them in Safari. And I could never find the "Save to File" button stated in all the instructions. Turns out that the "Save to File" button is in the lower part of the menu AND YOU MUST SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT. Then the online instructions make sense.

That there are additional buttons available or that the menu has stuff to scroll to is not indicated. Maybe I am missing the cue because my font is set to a larger size.

I’m experiencing the same issue with Chrome downloads after downloading over 500 MB of different audio files using the “click save to files” option. The megabytes are counted as downloads, but I can’t find these files anywhere in the Files app. Notably, there’s no folder dedicated to Chrome within the Files app. Furthermore, the files aren’t available in the Downloads folder on my Files app neither in (iCloud Drive) or on my iPhone. This is a significant disappointment.

I need help I downloaded a movie but I can not find it

I’ve been having that issue with my phone. I searched for mp4 video and found it. Then downloaded. But I can’t see where it downloads to.

Have worked out how to download into files

Open a new folder in file app and when you download it automatically goes into that folder

I have done that and rebooted the iPhone. The downloads are not in the Downloads folder. Some very old files are but nothing current.

I’ve tried all your suggestions multiple times to no avail. My settings says the downloads should be sent to my iPhone, not iCloud. I still cannot find my downloads anywhere.
