Did you see any Kernel Panic logs in "/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports" or one of its sub folders? Sometimes Kernel Panic logs in one of the sub folders may only have "kernel" or "panic" in the file name, while if it is located in the "DiagnosticReports" folder it should have a file name beginning with "kernel".
Did you get this error before or after installing third party apps or restoring/migrating from a backup?
If you installed third party apps or restored/migrated from a backup, then you may have brought the problem back. If so, then please run EtreCheck and post the report here so we can examine the system details to see if anything in the report stands out as a problem.
Try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected. Unfortunately the diagnostics don't detect too many hardware issues, but it never hurts to try.
Since you mentioned it takes multiple restarts to get the laptop to work, please run DriveDx (free trial period) to check the health of the SSD. Please post the complete DriveDx text report here so we can see the health information for the SSD.
Disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.
