Did not receive part of my order

I just ordered four items from Apple today and had them shipped (while in the middle of cleaning up a house that I am moving out of). The thing is, when I opened the order late tonight (I had waited to have something to look forward to) I discovered that part of the order was missing.

Now what? It is too late to get them on the phone... I have tried through chat... it would not be a huge deal but this is a $300 item.

I had been impressed by the quick delivery (within two minutes of the stated time window) and did not think to check the order while the delivery person was at the door...

Apple will sometimes ship a multi-item order in separate shipments. For online orders, you should have receive via email an order confirmation with details of your order, which will be followed by a further email when items are shipped - the latter will provide information at to precisely which items are included within the shipment.

You should also be able to check your order status online; this will allow you to verify that all items in your order have been included within the shipment that you have received.

Should you need to query your order, the order confirmation email will include contact details for queries relating to your order.
