My MacBook Air M1 Shuts Down when the Battery reaches 84%

Facing a pathetic problem these days with my new (20 days old) MacBook Air M1. From last couple of days When the battery reaches to 84% , it automatically shuts down. Then, after few seconds it again wakes up and finally shuts down.

After that I obviously Connects to the Power and for a Few Seconds it Shows 1%. But in next few minutes it shows 85 or 86 0r 87 % percent and Charging.

Without taking any chance I feed the battery to the fullest. After reaching 100% I disconnect the Charger(Original).

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.3

Hi mrinmay9,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand your mac is turning off and waking up a few seconds late and then turns off again. Run Apple Diagnostics to locate possible hardware issues. The diagnostics will tell you how to address the behavior.

Start Apple Diagnostics

Determine whether you're using a Mac with Apple silicon, then follow the appropriate steps:
Apple silicon
1. Turn on your Mac and continue to press and hold the power button as your Mac starts up.
2. Release when you see the startup options window, which includes a gear icon labeled Options.
3. Press Command (⌘)-D on your keyboard.

Intel processor
1. Turn on your Mac, then immediately press and hold the D key on your keyboard as your Mac starts up.
2. Release when you see a progress bar or you're asked to choose a language.

You can find these steps in Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support.

Regards.
