update iOS 16.4.1(a) Problems with sounds

Hi, after updating my iPhone 14 PRO to iOS 16.4.1(a) y have a lot of trouble with sound and notification, for example when I took a screenshot the sound is super loud, also when I lock the screen “the same” super loud.

When y manually change the volume of the notifications (system) it stay in that correct condition only until I lock the phone, then the problem persist.

The problem it also seems to be on my AirPods PRO 2, when I’m using them some sounds are “normal” and for example a notification it’s super loud. I even try to turn the volume down cos my ears where suffering but nothing happens, finally I had to take them off..

I have reset the iPhone and the AirPods, but nothing has changed, please fix this problem!!!!!

Yes I have had this problem too where it was also really quiet and then BLARING LOUD then quiet … and you know the rest.

what happened to me is that it eventually went away

somebody else I know has had that problem since the iPhone 7 and it transferred over to their new phone. So sometimes you might get a weird glitch you might have to live with.

I would recommend contacting Apple about this.

sorry,

I hope the problem goes away… GOOD LUCK

During the day I spoke with a dear friend, and he told me that the fix was very simple, just toggle the mute button, my immediate answer was “Blabla sure” but I give it a try and it work… like magic… now I toggle again to “unmute” and mi iPhone is working properly…

I don’t know if it’s temporary but now the system sound is working like before…
