Numbers.app v 13

In Numbers.app, v13, I want to search one column for each cell containing a negative signed value, then move it one cell to the right, continue in original column, stop at end. Does this exist? Can it be made up of multiple commands accomplished in order?

If it is not a large column of numbers, you can individually drag and drop or Cut/Paste the values from one column to another. If it is a large column follow the instructions below


MAJOR EDIT TO MY ORIGINAL POST


If your numbers are in column A,

  1. Put a filter on column A to show rows where the number is less than 0
  2. Select what you see in column A
  3. Click and hold in the selection box and the cells will lift from the table
  4. Drag them over one column and drop.
  5. Remove the filter
