ipad might cause chargers to stop working

Hello there,

So not long ago my chargers stopped working, we are using them to charge 3 iPads. The chargers were original apple chargers and every time we plug it into one of the iPad's the chargers stops working on every iPad, phone etc. This only happens when we plug it into one of the iPads. The other 2 don't have this issue. I am concerned that the iPad might have some virus or something. We bought new original chargers multiple times and they all stopped working. Does anyone have some idea's where this issue might come from?

You would be best advised to take the iPad that causes the issue - along with affected Power Adapters - along to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your them for faults:

Maybe a little bit of clarification. The only chargers related to iPads are internal to the iPad, as that's the sole place that charging is done. There is common usage of the term "charger" to refer to either AC power adapters or cables. I've even bought a few MFi Lightning cables that were sold as "chargers" although the photos made it pretty clear they were cables.

The cables can sometimes fail where their operation is intermittent. I've seen that a bit with worn cables. It's far less common with AC power adapters, but can happen. The usual thing is to try different ones.
