I was browsing through Reddit about virus’ and had accidentally clicked on a sketchy link that read “how to get rid of iPhone virus” that brought me to a website and I had immediately left the page. I checked the page with my pc antivirus screening and it stated there was a potential Trojan on that site. I deleted the app and restarted my phone. Should I have anything to worry about? I am updated to the newest iOS 16.4.1 (a)

Unfortunately, there is no way to determine if it has been hacked, unless you know that it has been jailbroken. And, the only way for an iPhone to have hacked is if it has been jailbroken.
So, what to do...
B. Reset your iPhone to Factory Settings:
Having tampered with this app, then reset you iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Go here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Perform as instructed there, including the backup creation and iCloud logout.

All such messages are scams presented by criminals. For future reference, do not interact with the message or the sender. Never download anything based on a popup message. If you downloaded a bogus app based on the message, be certain to check for any subscriptions you may have unknowingly started for the app. Simply clicking on such messages will in no way infect your non-jailbroken device.

Yes. Having interacted with with the message, it IS applicable. So, perform the reset, backing up first.

Yes. That would be necessary —but not on your end. Have the Carrier do that, as they are the ones who perform the configuration of it. It’s all about Security & Privacy. The same would apply to a SIM card (which are from the Western Hemisphere).

Okay I understand, one last question. My phone has an eSIM. Would it be necessary to delete that as well?
