Apple wireless Keyboard is typing the wrong symbols for everything! Help!

Make sure the Keyboard input source is set to the keyboard's actual layout. If it's set to something else, the symbols printed on the keys may not match what is typed.

f you would provide specific examples, we can probably offer more detailed help. If when you type asdfg you get åß∂ƒ©, that just means the machine thinks the option key is depressed.

Please restart the computer and then retest. If the problem continues, please let us know.
