Boarding passess or store cards disapearing from wallet

I travel a lot with my work and have used boarding passess in my apple wallet. Now they keep disapearing. the same for store cards. Bank cards however remain.

Can anyone explain what is happening or suggest a fix please? I have checked i am signed into my icloud account. I updated to the latest version 16.4.1(a).

Wondering if some passes may have just been "hidden" before time.

Apple Support's article:

Remove passes from Apple Wallet - Apple Support

says

"Some expired passes might be automatically hidden".

and:

"Expired passes

Some limited or single-use passes, such as boarding passes or event tickets, are automatically hidden after they expire. These passes are moved to a separate list, where you can view, unhide, or delete them:

  • Unhiding a pass returns it to the main view of the Wallet app.
  • Deleting a pass removes it permanently.

How to view, unhide, or delete expired passes on your iPhone:

  1. In the Wallet app on your iPhone, scroll to the bottom and tap View Expired Passes.
  2. Tap a pass to view its details.
  3. Tap Unhide to return the pass to the main view of the Wallet app or tap Delete to remove it.

You can also tap Edit to unhide or delete multiple passes at once.

For store cards:

Wondering if they could also be "hidden" as above.

or

You might want to check their app or website to see if they provide options for use of their store card with wallet.

Thank you for the reply.

I meant to add that. I have read lots of articles on this and have tried that suggestion. There are no expired passess on the phone. There should be loads as I have used my wallet for years. Museum, rail, flights, concert tickets. Should all be there as expired.

If i add a store card or pass/ticket... it will be there for up to a day then all but bank cards vanish. Which is frustrating when about to board a flight. I don't want to be printing everything out
