Multicam un-crop

I'm new to Multicam and using it to edit 3 clips of footage (left, right, center view). I have previously cropped them for a different scene and now need to reset the crop for the next scene. When I select the left clip in the timeline (for example) and then the crop arrow, the menu drops down with transform, crop, distort all available. But when I click crop, nothing happens. Nothing shows up in the preview and the clip stays the same. I've also tried to reset the crop in the main Multicam editing mode (all clips show in the timeline as one clip together) and the left and right cameras stay cropped. What am I missing?

Please post some screenshots.

Do you have a multicam clip with 3 angles? Are you doing the crop in the Angle Editor? The project?

Whether you want to do one or the other really depends on whether you want to apply the same crop for the whole duration or not. For example, if the "left" angle will always have the same crop applied throughout, do it in the angle editor. If you want to do it only in some places in the timeline, do it there.

It is unclear what you mean by "reset the crop in the main Multicam"...

If you applied crops to an angle in the Angle Editor, and then add this multicam to your project, they will still be applied; to undo that, you need to go back to the Angle Editor to make changes.

Please clarify.
