Warning: Fraudulent Activities by Vijay Sales - Seeking Help for Refund

Dear Apple Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share a concerning experience I had recently with Vijay Sales, a retailer known for selling electronic products, including Apple devices. It has come to my attention that Vijay Sales is engaged in fraudulent activities, specifically related to the sale of counterfeit and faulty Apple products.

I recently purchased an iPhone 11 (Demo Unit) from the Vijay Sales website, believing it to be a genuine and reliable product. However, upon receiving the device, I discovered multiple issues that raised suspicion about its authenticity:

  1. Battery Health: The battery health of the iPhone 11 was only at 80%, significantly lower than the expected battery health for a new or demo unit phone.
  2. Fake Screen with Blue Tint: The screen exhibited a peculiar blue tint, distorting colors and compromising the overall display quality.
  3. Front Camera Sensor Burn Marks: I noticed three distinct burn marks on the front camera sensor, impairing its functionality and degrading the quality of photographs and video calls.
  4. Overheating: Furthermore, the phone heated up excessively even after minimal usage, suggesting potential issues with its thermal management.

Upon further investigation, it became evident that the iPhone 11 I purchased from Vijay Sales was a counterfeit product, falsely represented as a genuine Apple device. These fraudulent activities by Vijay Sales are not only deceiving consumers but also undermining the reputation and trust associated with Apple products.

I am currently seeking help to obtain a refund from Vijay Sales for this fraudulent purchase. I have contacted their support team, but my concerns have been disregarded.

I want to emphasize the importance of caution and vigilance when purchasing Apple products, especially from online platforms and unauthorized resellers. It is crucial to verify the authenticity of the seller and ensure that the products being offered are genuine and reliable.

I kindly request your support and guidance in seeking a resolution and obtaining a refund from Vijay Sales. If anyone within the Apple community has faced similar issues or has any advice on how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate your input and assistance.

Let us stand united against fraud, protect fellow consumers, and promote a safe and reliable Apple community. Together, we can raise awareness, prevent financial loss, and ensure that genuine Apple products are obtained from authorized and trustworthy sources.

Thank you for your attention and support.

Sincerely,

Manthan N.

I recently purchased an iPhone 11 (Demo Unit) from the Vijay Sales website,

Vijay Sales is not allowed to sell Demo iPhone.

Apple doesn't sell demo iPhones.

A Demo iPhone is a Property of Apple.

This iPhone cannot be used and is not for sale.

If you have the invoice from Vijay Sales, request a refund from Vijay Sales.

You can report it to the police and/or to an Apple Store in your area.

Any or all of those things might be expected of a demo phone. When I was in charge of merchandising for a cell phone store, we set the demo phones to run constantly. They wore out.
