Hello, I have a green screen problem on my iPhone 13 pro max. I can't see anything on the whole screen, the screen is green. When I called AppleCare, they said the whole display needs to be changed, but unfortunately, my warranty expired two months ago. The display has to spend a lot of money. This is not my fault and I hope for a fair reply.
What should I do now??

i have this issue too. I just came back from apple store this afternoon. They did a diagnosis test on spot and finished within 5 mins. Even though my phone was out of warranty, the staff got his manager to approve my case without going through the online support. My screen was repaired for free in an hour. I questioned him why did this happen, he said ‘display issues’ and not linked to software updates. He also said for the past year quite a handful customers have presented this issue to them.
(FYI, my phone is only a year old, currently on ios 16.1.1. Green screen occur out of a sudden, i did not update my ios at all.)
I had the same problem two months ago with my 13 pro Max with iOS 16.6 and now 2 days ago my girlfriend with her iPhone 13 after update to iOS 17. This bug is really disappointing and still no solution from apple.
Any updates about this concern? Any resolution? I have encountered the same issue JUST NOW. :(

While using WhatsApp my 13 pro max suddenly blacked out but it was fixed when I pushed power button but when it backed out I was able to max out the volume of my iPhone. It was working while it was blackout. There are no damage. Or better low issue. Yesterday I have downloaded latest updates I think after that I’m facing this problem
My phone turned out to green screen. All of sudden and realised there was ios update done, no physical damage and authorised service center claims that it's a display failure - for which 28k is charged.? Does Brand apple iPhone 80k phone hardware componet have life just 1 and half years ? Brand value is lost.
Same happened with my iPhone 13 PRO Max, and service center are charging huge charges for their own software fault.
At least, Apple should come forward and provide a free replacement for such issue. OnePlus already did it, and gained a huge respect!
I am getting the same issue in Hong Kong after an iOS update.
With this issue happening all around the world, it's an obvious defect of the product. It's totally unacceptable that we are being asked to pay for the screen replacement.

Yesterday same happened with my 13 Pro Max, suddenly the screen turned green-white lines. everything is working fine except the screen turned green. Anyone got this replaced by apple, free of cost? please ket me know how to proceed further. thanks in advance.
this is so wrong of apple to not address this issue & include this in service programme.
did you get a resolution for this one? I have the same case and they are asking me to pay for the display replacement as well.

I have same case. After updating 16.5 it also turned on green tint screen. It's not fair by Apple. We have to pay for the cause that we haven't done. @apple
I have the same problem on my iPhone 13 Pro Max after recently updated to iOS 16.5.1(c) and Apple did not want to respond for the damages, I am very disappointing, I lose my faith in Apple Products.
