Yes, lots of people with a variety of carriers had that problem. Originally, it seemed as if most people who had it were Verizon customers, though. Your carrier can fix it for you. Have you talked to AT&T?

Some people have had success by logging into their own accounts with their carrier and turning off MMS and Group Messaging, restarting their phones, then turning the features on again. If AT&T lets you do that, it's worth a try.

Apple isn't finger pointing, MMS is a phone carrier feature, that is include in your monthly service that you pay them. You'll need to work it out with AT&T.
