Someone changed the phone number on my iCloud account

I just wrote a post describing my situation but looks like apple deleted it for some reason.🤔

So basically a similar situation situation happened to me as Someone changed the phone number on my Ic… - Apple Community

I had my phone turned off for two weeks because I was on an international trip and right after I turned it back on, I got a notification that someone used my card so I proceeded to message apple right away (this happened at 5:32pm), apple responded saying that a specialist was going to contact me and someone called me right away at 5:33pm, knowing the exact situation that I was messaging about and it turned out that guy was a 'fraud'. It doesn't make sense how the guy knew that I just messaged apple and it honestly sounds like an insider who is helping because how else would they have known that I just messaged apple? especially since my phone has been off for two weeks.

and now apple is saying they cannot do anything, they will just allow the hacker to walk around with my icloud and pretend to be me. I pay for all my apple products and I pay for icloud monthly and I've been a loyal customer and this is how I get treated. It just doesn't make sense how everything was timed so perfectly..and now "supposedly" apple can't do anything to help me.

hat is a scam. Apple wouldn't send you an email right off the bat about this. So, what happens when you open iTunesTV, or Music? Does it play just fine? If so, then it is obviously not disabled.

So, Secure your Info:

If concerned for device access, then (A)verify your devices, and (B)secure your account. Open a new eMail addressee d use that for your Apple ID.

1. Verify your Devices:

Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

then...

2. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.

III. Report Items to Apple:

So, report phone call's and messages info to Apple and modify. Use my User: Using the Photos App to Report Scams - User Tip

I have heard similar stories regarding this issue and it seems like valuable customers are receiving the same poor treatment from Apple support. It's absolutely absurd that the best thing they can tell you is "sorry there's nothing we can do on our end". How a trillion dollar company can be this incompetent is actually absurd. Not having basic privacy protection for their customers is alarming. I really hope you acquire ample support that you deserve.
