Apple Pro Display XDR won't work with MacBook Pro (M1) 2021 model

My Pro Display XDR won't work with my MacBook Pro (M1) 2021 model. it has latest Mac OS(Ventura). However, the display works with my M1 iMac & an older M1 MacBook Pro. So, it does not seem to be an issue with the thunderbolt cord or the display. But whenever I try to connect the display to my MacBook Pro 2021 model, the display just beeps steadily (low volume beep) and stays black. On my MacBook, for a split second the window will pop up that you usually see, asking if you want to connect to this external display. However the pop-up disappear so quickly you dont have time to interact with it, or really even see it. I only recognize it because I know what it is from seeing it when I connect to my other MacBook Pro.

Is there a setting on my MacBook Pro that I need to turn on to allow the display to work?

Your footer here shows a MacBook Pro (M1 2020) model, not a 2021 model.

Depending on which MacBook Pro model, it may or may not be compatible.
