Recently published articles for Final Cut Pro for Mac:
After upgrading to macOS Ventura 13.4 when I'm in Final Cut my Slow motion footage is all black screen.
Also doesn't play in Quick time.
But it does play in VLC
this is all Mp4 footage from a Sony FX3

Getting another system just for updates doesn't fit in everyone's budget when the business is solely running by the owner.
This shouldn't be acceptable and needs to be addressed asap, right now I literally cannot work because of this.
The problem is in DaVinci as well.

No, it is not. 13.4.1 was purely a security update.

What's interesting is that these files don't work on iPhone either... They wouldn't intentionally do this... would they?
It’s XAVC-S isn’t it? That format has never been supported on iPhones.
Oh you’re right. When I converted it through HandBrake, it worked so I wasn’t sure if it stopped working or never did.
