Not receiving iPhone verification texts

Here is the phone number. (866) 288-7629). It was recommended by Sharpeyes. I am now getting codes from text messages. It took several steps. I can't remember what those are. But it was Apple support that solved the problem. Good luck with this!

Seems like I'm having the same issues which started once I moved from my old carrier to a new one (KPN). Could you verify this is an issue that could exist at any carrier in any country, if so it may has to do with my new phone which I recently took in use and that the carrier doesn't register the new phone IMEI but still uses the old one (?).

if you were so “interested” in your problem u would’ve figured out your problem yourself and had the brain power to know that u should probabaly call tech support about a tech issue.. I’m happy u got an employee with patience that could take care of that for u but fyi that is u a problem not an AT&T store employees problem. We don’t get trained on how to fix stuff like that, we are there to sell phones and services we’re not Tech support ppl. This isn’t me being an “A-hole” this is dumb ppl not being able to use their Brian to know to call customer service, AT&T stores say right on the front door “Authorized RETAIL Store” not tech center where we fix phones store.

If anyone has found a solution that would be great. I have done all the troubleshooting and called my cell provider and nothing seems to be working. Cant receive text from my bank, or any third-party verification codes. No numbers are blocked, updated the sim card, tried the Airplane mode, and ensured all spam blockers were off. It started about 3 weeks ago still no answers. Receiving text from businesses and friends at a lost. On IOS 17.3

Thank you so much for this tip. I have been trying for two days to get verification codes on my iPhone since I upgraded without success. I called my carrier and they were no help at all. I came across your post and instantly it worked.

I am having the same problem just started today 3/23/24 can't for the life of me figure this out and there is not much help on the web. Caught a few videos that has some solutions and none of them worked. I have T-Mobile.

All verification messages containing any code aren't fully displayed. The text message is shown, but not the 6 digit OTP code at the end of the message.

If I copy the entire message and paste it somewhere (e.g. notes), the entire message including the 6 digit code is shown.

Hello! Just wanted to say thanks a million for this post and tour answer. I wasn’t getting verification code text messages and was in a panic because we needed one to get into my sons college account to meet with his freshman college advisor via zoom who is 2200 miles away. I googled it real quick and your answer came up. I tried it and it worked right away. First impressions are everything so we didn’t wanna screw the zoom up. Thanks again!

am using iPhone 8plus, i was trying to retrieved my old apple id, waited for a month to retrieved it and now that i was able to retrieve my apple id, resetting password was all set but why i haven’t receive the verification code to my new number. Is there someone could help? Thanks in Advance!
