Why are My Albums on my Mac not synced with My Albums on my iPhone?

Why My Albums on my Mac are not synced and are not equal to My Albums on my iPhone when I use USB cable and sync all content?

Dear @leroydouglas,

Thank you for the reference. The story is that I don't want to deal with iCloud anymore. I would appreciate to have direct connection between my iPhone and Macbook via USB and I want My Almbums to be synced (as it was in iTune before) and be equal on both devices without using iCloud. How can i do that?

Album syncing only works with iCloud Library. By cable only photos are synced.

I cant figure out how to sync my photo albums to my Macbook either. Did you find a way to do that when syncing with a cord, not using iCloud? The album icons show up but no photos are added. Thanks!
