Gathering printer information keeps coming up when I want to print on my phone but no the iPad.

How do I clear the ‘gathering printer information’ on my phone when I want to print?

I have switched off printer, phone, reset wifi, router, upgraded to 16.5 and cleared cookies but still happens.

When I switch on the phone it hasn’t the message but says ‘No printer selected’ and when I select the Brother printer the ‘gathering printer information’ comes up again and won’t swop to the other Hp printer.

I had this same issue when our iPhone updated to IOS 17... Apple help tried all the usual things that did not work. Finally, they asked if I had updated my printers firmware. I updated the firmware and sure enough it was working again. Before the update to the firmware all of our updated iPhones would not select the printer, however, our old iPhone with IOS 14.. could print fine. So try updating your printers firmware.

The same has been happening to me also! And I’ve noticed it only started happening when I wanted to print either, something against the narrative I’m expected to believe, or if it’s survival or Bushcraft tips amongst other things! Lol 😂 It’s definatly been blocked. We have no freedom of thought, speech or, anything really. What a world we live in! B

did you find the solution. I have the same issue with my Samsung printer. All was good then problems “with gathering supply information” it stalls out

Has anyone solved this problem. I have tried using HPPrint but that takes like 5mins perpage on the Iphone

Having the same problem with iPhones 17.2.1 and iPads 17.2. Printer is HP OfficeJet Pro 6968.
