Hi folks. I have suddenly had an issue when trying to load new software to my Mac Desktop computer (Tony's iMac (2) / Big Sur 11.6.2). When I start the process it tells me that it can't do it as it is waiting for other software to finish loading. However, there is no other software to load. Indeed, I haven't tried to load new software on this machine for months! Needless to say, it's all so very frustrating. Please advise if you can help. Thanks!

A - The other software maybe in fact an update to the existing Big Sur 11.6.2
A - The Current Version of Big Sur is 11.7.7
It usually a good idea to not allow the computer to fall too far behind in updates.
There are many Bug and Security Updates between Big Sur 11.6.2 and latest Big Sur 11.7.7
Once that is achieved, it may allow the user to install Other Third Party Applications without this annoyance occurring
