outdoor camera and home app not working correclty

My Camera snapshot and live feed seems to be quite finicky. Currently on my mac it shows a snapshot from yesterday and keeps spinning when I try to load a live feed. But on my phone I get both a current live feed and updated snapshot. On my iPad I get an old snapshot but can get a live feed. Anyone have a similar problem and was able to fix it?

I've invested in homekit products and like the idea of Homekit but the execution has been quite buggy. On the Eve outdoor camera there is a floodlight which is triggered by movement. I have a scene that triggers other outdoor lights for three minutes. All lights should turn off after three minutes but the camera light does not.

Sometimes outlet plugs will get disconnected from the homekit. I bought plugs with matter but they usually run through bluetooth.

Maybe someone has a fix for the camera and the rest just seems to be annoying bugs. I waited a couple of years since I assumed there would be growing pains before I jumped in a couple of months ago. Are there other homekit resources/forums you can recommend?
