Need help upgrading to Ventura on MacBook Pro 2019, get erroneous Internet error message.

Hi, I need help upgrading to Ventura on MacBook Pro 2019 (it's compatible, have plenty of storage, stable Internet). I keep getting an erroneous error message stating that I must be connected to the Internet to update OS, always at 8 minutes left. I've restarted all involved components, used 2 independent ISPs/systems/routers (satellite and fiber optic), direct wired to bypass one WiFi, renewed DCHP, deleted and restored WiFi network, etc.. I'm at a loss and Apple Support on the phone didn't even try to offer any tech support, just go to an Apple store. Thanks.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

Download the full installer using the Terminal.app if you have an issue—copy & paste:

sudo softwareupdate -i -a -R

-i Install

-a All appropriate updates

-R Automatically restart (or shut down) if required to complete installation)

(note: your psswd will not echo on screen type it in anyway, to proceed use the enter\return key)

alternatively:

sudo softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 13.4

The full installer when complete will be in your Applications folder, launch it from there like any other app.
