Can't update iOS to Ventura - other software malfunctioning

Hello,

I'm really between a rock and a hard place here. When trying to install the update automatically it will say "an error occurred during install". It then states to check my internet connection, which is stable and strong. I have enough disk space and my machine is a Macbook Air 2021, thus everything should work. I've run several malware and antivirus software and nothing has been detected. When trying to install the update from the terminal I get:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)

At the same time, a couple programs have stoped working fully. Skype and Chrome. Which I desperately need for work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

This has worked for a lot of users in the company I work for: Ventura 13.6 - Downloading the Installer You should have 35GB to 40GB of free storage. Apple menu bar icon (upper left corner) -> About This Mac -> More Info... -> Storage 12+GB for the InstallAssistant.pkg. 12+GB for the “Install macOS Ventura” app. And the rest is used during the install, as existing operating system components are replaced with new components. You will get most of the storage back after the upgrade completes. If at home, disconnect from the VPN so you get your ISP’s full bandwidth. Using any web browser, download the following URL (it is 12+GB): http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/28/01/042-55926-A_7GZJNO2M4I/asqcyheggme9rflzb3z3pr6vbp0gxyk2eh/InstallAssistant.pkg The above URL will download InstallAssistant.pkg to your Downloads folder. Double-Click on the InstallAssistant.pkg file. This will place a copy of the app “Install macOS Ventura” in the Applications folder. NOTE: Before starting the installation, it is wise to backup any important files before applying a major operating system upgrade. Finder -> Go (menu) -> Applications -> Install macOS Ventura Double-Click on “Install macOS Ventura” This should start the Ventura installation. After the installation is complete, check the System Settings -> General -> Software Update and make sure there are no incremental updates available (hopefully not, but check to make sure). The Applications -> "Install macOS Ventura" will delete itself after the install. Then you can delete the Downloads -> InstallAssistant.pkg to recover that 12+GB of storage.

Hi Bob, Thanks for taking the time with this. I was trying to find the source of my issue and after running softwareupdate --list-full-installers I got the following output:

Scan finished with error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1012 "(null)" UserInfo={NSErrorFailingURLStringKey=https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-12-10.16-10.15-10.14-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz, NSErrorFailingURLKey=https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-12-10.16-10.15-10.14-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz, NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Asegúrate de tener conexión a Internet e intenta de nuevo., SUErrorRelatedCode=SUErrorCodeScanCatalogNotFound}

Needless to say, my connection is strong. Has my system been compromised in some way perhaps, or even corrupted? I'd appreciate any help with this. Thanks again!
