Try to reset the Bluetooth module on your Mac and resolve any connectivity issues, follow these steps:

1. **Removing Existing Bluetooth Devices:**

   First, remove all the existing Bluetooth devices paired with your Mac. This ensures a clean slate for the reset process.

2. **Resetting Bluetooth via Terminal:**

   Open Terminal on your Mac and type the following command:

   ```
   sudo pkill bluetoothd
   ```

   Press Enter to execute the command. You will be prompted to enter your Mac password for confirmation. Type in your password and press Enter again.

3. **Restarting Your Mac:**

   Once the `sudo pkill bluetoothd` command has been executed, restart your Mac.

4. **Powering On Your Mac:**

   After the restart, power on your Mac again. The Bluetooth module should now be reset and ready to use.

By following these steps, you should have successfully reset your Mac's Bluetooth module, resolving any connectivity issues you might have been experiencing.

*Note: Remember to pair your Bluetooth devices again after completing this process.*

Hello kbm7444,

If you're able to connect other Bluetooth devices to your MacBook Air, you may need to disconnect and forget the speakers from your MacBook and connect again.

Disconnect a Bluetooth device
1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Bluetooth  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Hold the pointer over the device in the list, then click Disconnect.

If you don’t want a device to reconnect automatically, Control-click its name, then click Forget. You have to connect it again if you want to use it later.

We found this article on the Bose Support page that explains that you can only connect to one device at a time: Reconnecting a Bluetooth® device that you have already connected

You may need to reset your speaker or clear previously connected devices.
