Voice typing duplicates text on my iPhone 14 Pro Max

that is what I JUST sent to my daughter and I’m sitting in my living room by myself. The TV isn’t on and there is absolutely no noise right now. I always talk slowly because well, I try to think before I speak to make sure it’s typed like I said it. I once almost sent a text with the word “masturbating” to my boss!!! And NO that wasn’t the word I was trying to say.

this is such a bullcrap response... I'm having the same "dictated text messages being inserted multiple times in the text" issue... it doesn't require a screen shot or more details or more explanation. Its obvious what is occurring and given the amount of people experiencing, has to be well known by Apple. This is why Samsung just surpassed Apple. Nothing new, nothing innovative, poor response to widely experienced problems

I depend on Siri to do talk to text and my job is I’m a principal and I’m constantly messaging just doing so much and since the last update it repeats it three or four times and it goes crazy fast and it absolutely screws up the entire tool and usage of the tool. This needs to be fixed please somebody help us. This is super important thank you so much. Oh by the way, I have an 13 pro.

This is so maddening! Worse for people trying to read it!! HELP

I am getting duplicate text from Voice. It has happened primarily when I’m using messages. It’s difficult to edit it and it doesn’t happen every time but it happens frequently. What do you suggest for a fix? It seems to happen primarily with longer messages. But it also happens when I am dictating who to send the message to.

Wondering if this has to do with the most recent software update? It is maddening and very inconvenient to not be able to use dictation or use Siri effectively.

uggg... im going to try this... I only have two... VERY much approved by apple... Giffy and Gif keys but crap.. at this point I'll try everything... it is INSANE how many posts are about this but somehow nothing seems to be happening...

mine is TOTALLY random... and tends to show up more when I go into a thread and use the mic there by tapping the mic... more than when I say "Siri send a text to....." it tends to happen less then.

I have noticed the same thing... and it often happens when it seems to be thinking/processing my voice input.... i.e. I have earbuds in and I'm trying to dictate... and the cursor is just sitting there... and then I've noticed that when the DOUBLED FREAKING TEXT happens... when I then go to erase it the erasing happens "faster" than normal. anyone else know what im talking about here..

My voice control was already off... my iPhone 14 Pro Max is doing exactly the same thing... sometimes it doesn't sometimes sometimes it does... this was a regular text message... and it only repeated one line 🤬

I’ve had the same problem with my 15 Pro. When I called Apple and told them about the problem the agent said he never heard of the issue. I’ve gone through all the recommended fixes and it stops and then a few days later happens again. It happens in iMessage. It happens in Notes.

Also trying to move the cursor in a text message, if you want to insert a word or make a correction they have also made virtually impossible. They are trying to make text do way too much at once and they’re just ruining the experience.

Typcial tech overkill. Most notable in Apple garbage.
