I have tried turning on and turning off the phone. Voice recorder is not on. Yet I waste so much time deleting and re-typing since anytime you click the voice record it duplicates multiple sentences that you just dictated please someone give a different fix.

iPhone 14 Pro Max
My 15 pro just started repeating blocks of text when I pause while using voice to text. This just started immediately after an update to 17.4.1. I can't get it to stop. Sometimes it will duplicate a paragraph 3 or 4 times.
I found that it was that my Bluetooth was on without me, knowing it.

Any other suggestions? I have done everything you have replied, and more. It seems to happen after a pause, and then you click on the voice record button to stop recording, it reiterates the entire thing you said, since the last time you stop talking
This solution did not fix my texting duplication problem. Both "Speak Selection" or "Speak Screen" were already turned off. Also, I've tried speaking more clearly and that did not fix it either

SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING... every suggestion in this thread does not apply to me... didnt have a single one of the accessibility things turned on.
I found this happens on my phone (13 Pro Max) when I have an airpod in that I'm using to dictate or some other bluetooth device. If I take off the bluetooth device then it seems to function *better*. I've not done extensive testing of this but I did dictate a text a few minutes ago to several different people using Airpods (it duplicated and even went to triplicate a few times) each text. I then took out the airpods and tried and it didn't duplicate....
Sooooo...airpods are the issue? Maybe bluetooth (I've not experienced duplication on my cars system when dictating.

Turn voice control off. Same was happening to me and this fixed it. Settings>Accessibility>Voice Control> toggle to off.
This has been happening to me for so long. Thought it was my old iPhone 12 but just got an iPhone 15 and it’s still happening. Whyyyyyyy????

After the 17.4.1 iOS update my 14 Pro Max is doing the same thing and it is driving me crazy. It seems to only do it in text messages. I am currently using it right now and it is not repeating.
