Dark fuzzy circle in iPhone 13pro photos when zoom over 2.5x

What's the deal with the fuzzy black circle on iPhone 13pro photos when zooming in excess of 2.5x ? The is annoying. I dealt with that green dot on earlier iPhones, now it's a dark fuzz ball. In the photo below, you will see it above the dolphin. If I zoom in it goes away. Zoom out past 2.5x and it re-appears. I need to take my pics and put them through Pixelator to get rid of the anomaly. I am not shooting into direct light either. Does Apple know of this and if so, do they ever plan on rectifying this?

Yes, it continues to occur in the same spot when zooming past 2.5x and my wife's 13 Pro does the exact same thing. I wonder if there are others with the same issue?
