iPhone 11 ends CARRIER CALLS ONLY whenever the proximity sensor detects it is of ear.

Does anyone else experience this issue where all calls work normally i.e. WhatsApp, facetime, etc? BUT whenever I make CARRIER phone calls, if the proximity sensor detects it is of the ear, it will end the call abruptly.,

Please note the phone is new, and has never had water damage, falls etc. This only happens during normal carrier phone calls, not VoIP-based calls. Also, I noticed it started after I purchased AirPods Pro 2nd gen.

Please help.

well, spoke to support. Did not like the idea of taking it to a store, did a DFU restore from iTunes, problem was fixed.

Contact Apple Support. Use the Support link in the lower left corner, and chat or call (from a working phone) as available.

Neither chat nor calls are available worldwide, and chat availability can vary, yes.

You could log an Apple hardware repair request and go through those channels, if Apple has a presence in your country.

I have been trying to find a bloody chat option since the phone call would drop anyways, but I can't seem to find it. Not sure if it is due to being out of the US.
