Dock

I have a MacBook Air and the dock keeps moving back to the bottom of my screen. I prefer it on the left and would like to lock it in.

I know how to move it but it won't stay there.

For years now I have been having the same frustrating problem.... the Dock keeps jumping to my 2nd screen. I use multiple displays and need the Dock to stay at the bottom of the screen on my Macbook Pro display. I do not want it to move to my 2nd screen if I accidentally move my mouse to the bottom. I do not want it on the left or right of the screen. I want it to stay where I put it. There are numerous similar questions on the community so I think many other people are frustrated with the same problem. It would be nice to have the options to lock it, or have it appear on multiple screens. Does anyone know how or have the ears of Apple to take this request forward please? Just a thought. I wonder if it could be added as an option to Hot Corners? Thanks for reading....

macbook dock keeps disappearing The dock keeps disappearing. I right click it and select Turn hiding off. But moments later it disappears again

Hi,

If your MacBook Air has Intel processor, resetting NVRAM as well as SMC could solve your issue.
