FYI, If you need to use an LCD screen cleaner (or even just water) to clean a display, you only want to lightly dampen the microfiber cloth. Never spray anything onto any device or you risk liquid getting inside of it. Also liquid should never drip from the cloth even when the cloth is squeezed. It is usually best to focus on the center of the screen first then wipe around the edges so you can be sure there is not excessive liquid on the cloth.
I know there will be some people who will say there is no need for using any liquids to clean a display, but I can tell you from personal experience supporting thousands of our organization's laptops that sometimes it is absolutely necessary since some of the laptops can be absolutely filthy.
Unfortunately if liquid got beneath the glass, then most likely the display will always show the liquid damage. Sometimes water may evaporate and return the display to normal, but even then you may still be able to see the damage if you look at the display at a certain angle.
If the damage is severe enough to interfere with normal viewing of the display, then you can have the laptop repaired, but this will be very expensive.
In this article about cleaning, there is a small blurb about getting liquid in the device.

Yeah. I kind of thought it existed, but never looked for it until now. I learned a bit and will be changing my habits.
Great work just the same.
