Remove red (1) notification badge from System Settings I just rebooted my MacBook from Sonoma and reinstalled Ventura, as soon as the Home Screen pops up I get the one red notification on my System Settings that the Sonoma Update is ready, which I'm not updating it too. It slowed my Mac performance tremendously. How do I get rid of the notification WITHOUT installing the Software?

OS 13.4 Optimize Your Mac After updating to OS 13.4, there was a notification on the top, right, "Optimize Your Mac: your storage and battery performance may be affected until you complete this." But it didn't specify how to optimize my Mac. Am I supposed to take additional steps after the OS 13.4 installation? I have optimize battery charging turned on.... I'm on a 2023 MacBook Pro 16" M2 Max.

After some macOS updates, you may see that message; the process is a background task and will complete automatically.
