Print job is not accepted.

I have a new iMac running version Venture 13.4 I have an older printer an HPColor Laserjet MF277dw. I am trying to print by wifi and have printed successfully in the past. All of a sudden in the past week, I can't print. I have tried deleting and adding the printer back in several times and have also restarted the entire system - iMac and printer. I notice that there is a green light after I add the printer back in, but as soon as I print, the light turns yellow and the message is Print job is not accepted. What now?

I couldn't print anything, regardless of extension. But I discovered that after I deleted my printer and added it back, the printer name I hd used was slightly different than the original name. Discovered that almost incidentally, but correcting the name fixed the problem. I suspect my issue was likely to be a one-off.

I had a similar problem with an HP laser printer on WiFi. It worked flawlessly for a couple of months then would stop connecting to WiFi. I had to go thru the connecting to the LAN several times before it stuck. So far it's working as advertised - 🤞.

Hi - not yet. Using the workaround of opening docs as a PDF. Will print from Acrobat but not email or apps. I have not tried all the printing reset issues, but will one day. Sigh
