Restore deleted imessages on Mac (MacOS Monterey 12.3.1)
Hi,
Is there any way to restore imessages that were deleted on the messages app on my macbook? Would a software update help?

I believe that Specific Feature " restore iMessages restore imessages that were deleted on the messages app on my macbook " was only introduced in macOS 13 Ventura
In this specific instance where the computer is presently running macOS 12 Monterey - what is gone is gone.
Upgrading to Ventura macOS 13 will not bring them back - sadly 😔

I'm having this same issue with Monterey 12.7.4 on an intel iMac. I have my messages backed up in time machine, but I cannot see them in my conversations when I open the Messages app from the restored backup.
Ah, I figured this was the case but, just wanted some additional input. Thank you very much for your response!
Welcome and thank you too
