Wifi connection not
Laptop indicates both in setting and upper right corner it is connected to Wifi but any application says no. I have done this on 2 different networks.

I understand your Mac is connected to a Wi-Fi network but your applications say there is no Internet connection. Is that correct?

yep and I have tried 2 different networks to make sure

... any help with this, or not ??
Apple Icon upper left>Location> choose "Automatic".
Mine WAS on "unknown", and would not connect
choosing Automatic fixed it
