Hello! My iPhone 14 is saying I have 7 unread text messages. However, when I go
to my text message folder (unknown sender, unread etc) they are show are 0 unread messages. So I am
up to date on all texts, but the green box on my Home Screen still shows I have 7. How do I clear that??

To clear these unread messages, please go to: Messages App > Edit > Read All.
Also, some users have figured out to have Siri “read all unread messages”.

H1290 - you’re amazing!!!! The Siri command worked!!!! I had already done the first recommendation you suggested, but I finally have the messages cleared by asking Siri to read all unread!!! I can’t thank you enough!!!
