Home Architecture Upgrade breaks Hue Motion Sensor automations

After doing the Home Architecture Upgrade, all automations triggered by Hue Motion Sensors are failing to execute.

I tried deleting and re-creating one, and discovered that Homekit is confused between the motion-detected event and the temperature-changed event.

Anyone else seeing this and know a solution?

Hi jim_trethewey,

We see you're having issues with the Home app after updating. We have a few steps that may help resolve the issue.

To start, we will want to restart all home hubs (HomePod, HomePod mini, and Apple TV) by unplugging then plugging them back into power. If you are using an iPad as a hub, please restart that by following: Restart your iPad - Apple Support

Next,  go to Settings (System Settings on Mac) > [your name] > iCloud on your devices you use for a Hub and make sure iCloud is turned on for Passwords and Keychain, and Home.

If issues persist, and there are no updates for Phillips Hue devices, we suggest reaching out to Apple Support here: Get Support

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
