Unable to login to my laptop because the letter A key doesn’t work anymore

Last night I went to log into my MacBook Air and I kept getting denied. I finally figured out the letter key A wasn’t working.

How do I fix this problem?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

Take it to an authorized service center for inspection.

In the mean time you can use an external keyboard to log in.

If you can log in, it may be possible to have the virtual keyboard to be enabled which should put an icon on the menu bar so you can just use the Trackpad to press the "A" key on the virtual keyboard so you don't have to keep an external keyboard if traveling.
