I don't see an album called "My photo stream". Photos on my phone are automatically synced with my iCloud storage. Do I still need to do something to make sure none of my photos are lost?

Re the scheduled shutdown of My Photo Stream at the end of July, I read an article on how to protect photos but I don't see an album called "My photo stream". So long as your photos are stored in iCloud where there is enough space to store them, your photos are carried around with your Apple ID and so wherever you sign in for iCloud on any device and your photos are stored there, you will be fine and they will be protected.
