Outlook 365 Contact Group doesn't sync to iPhone Contacts

Why don't Outlook Contact Groups sync to iPhones? All individual contacts sync correctly to the default Contacts app, but Contact Groups don't. Is there a workaround or setting in Outlook or the iPhone to include them? I checked all the options and don't see anything that refers to Contact Groups. Any ideas?
