Hello! I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with their audio skipping with any app used. I’ve tried changing the output (AirPods, phone speaker, wired headphones) but the audio continues to skip like a CD every couple of seconds. I reached out to Apple support and am awaiting their response, I was just trying to see if others had this issue. My current software is iOS 16.5. Let me know, thanks!

I had the same problem with iHeart Radio and other internet audio streaming. After someone called while I was streaming audio, the audio would skip for a second approximately every 4 seconds. I tried shutting down / restart and resetting network settings which did not solve the issue. I called Apple Support and they suggested backing up the iPhone to iCloud and doing a factory reset. Under Settings/General/Transfer or Reset iPhone/Back up to iCloud/Clear all data from Phone. That worked.

When you play audio from this iPhone, is the source of this audio actually on the phone or being streamed from the Internet?
Was this always an issue, or did it just started to happen recently? If recently, dd you update your iPhone?
This happens to me as well especially when I have Spotify hooked up to my vehicle. I have had it happen on both vehicles and different phones as well. So annoying! Did you happen to find a solution?
