Copy without grid lines

How to copy only the numbers/text in a spreadsheet (in numbers) and paste these items without grid lines in another document (pages)?

I'm certain that I have use what is describe below to copy datafrom the cells of a Numbers table, then Paste those numbers, still arranged in rows and columns, but without the cell boundaries of a spreadsheet table, into a Pages document, where Pages (or the user) had created a text box, and the data displayed in the text box with the same arrangement as in the Numbers table, but without the cells and without the cell boundaries.

BUT, using current versions of Numbers and Pages 13.1 for both), I found could copy the data, then paste it into an inserted text box in Numbers, preserving the array, but dropping the cell boundaries, but was unable to paste theNumbers data into Pages with or without the cell boundaries and with or without a Pages text box to receive the 'pasted' text/numerals.

YMMV, of course, so here is the procedure I used for the within Numbers version:

1 .Select the cells containing the the text.

2 Copy

3 Click the Text icon in the tool bar to insert a text box in the currently open sheet of the spreadsheet.

4 Click the word "TEXT" in the top left corner of the box. (The word should disappear, leaving the insertion point visible in the box.

5 Paste.

This was my result:

Unfortunately, I couldn't paste that copied material into a Pages document from what was copied, or by selecting and copying the text in the lineless box now pasted into the Numbers document, then attempting to paste that copied data into Numbers or Pages.

YMMV, of course, and I hope that it does!

Barry
