I am a DJ am a DJ and do not want iTunes controlling music options. How do I remove or disable it?

For me the app launches and plays media when not expected.

The only way I have found to stop the Music app is to use the following utility, noTunes.

Normally, quitting the app so it is not running should be sufficient. If you are seeing a specific issue, pls provide details.
